I haven't posted to the news tab for quite a while. I guess I just had a lot on my mind and got distracted by other things. Anyway I have a lot of headcanons for the brawlers (especially Colette) so let me know your headcanons and I'll rate them.

The HC of the art I'm posting tomorrow rarely ever happens and it's the farthest she can go with that (like putting in effort to get something), but it's still kinda disturbing and weird. Hopefully I won't have to draw that again and I can go back to drawing her being a weirdo in general and the butcher vanity inspired headcanon or corruption AU. Long story short, Colette is not beating the freak allegations.

I just want to clarify some things that kinda go together. I have some strange and dark interests but let me clarify, not in an X rated way. First, sharpness like that of Colette. I think that looks cool and dangerous and give off a feral/crazed vibe and that's definitely a plus for character design for me. I think I might have some kind of sharp centered non-X-rated odontophilia with this. I don't really know what I expect saying this but whatever.

Idk how I can advance my development of my worlds. A lot of them are already pretty developed and I kinda want to do some anatomy revisions on some species, but I don't really know how to improve them.
I kinda want to add more to gryphons in Injunction of Entropy like how they have the same hollow organic metal bones as dragons, air sacs in empty spaces in their torso (kinda like birds, avisens and dragons) and the wings can be used as extra arms. I imagine their shoulders are somewhat of a mix of a cat and an ape, able to rotate 360° but also can stand long periods of time walking like a quadruped. I imagine they came from seaside places and most of their diet was fish, hence why they have shark like as well as raptor beak. They definitely have whiskers like cats and a lot of catlike and birdlike behavior. Their native culture has a heavy emphasis on protecting what you care about most, especially your loved ones (homage to Greek gryphons).
As for harpies, I definitely have a plan that they come from a seaside place and resembled seabirds like the wandering albatross, but branched out and adapted to other environments. Hence why Set is a harpy/desert elf mix based on a burrowing owl.

Thinking about Colette (pre-complete snap insanity arc) and her existential/ identity crisis. I keep connecting this to the song six feet under by Vane. Like she knows on some level all of this is the fault of Starr Corp but for some reason (probably the brainwashing) she can't bring herself to hate them (Starr Corp). Like the rage she feels towards them is being redirected to her general aggression (probably the virus thing in Starr Park or something) and towards herself possibly. Also it isn't helping that she probably got the job at the gift shop to study the brawlers and is becoming attached to them, that kind of emotional conflict on top of an identity crisis and an existential crisis, on top of trying to navigate a park that defies all spatial logic would drive someone to a breaking point eventually.
(Idk what to rate this, I'm rating it T just in case)
On another note regarding another headcanon I had about her breaking point (trying to find a way out or seeing if there's any chance those she interacted with before the game (Pam, maybe Piper, maybe other former members of SPUDE) can recall anything of their past life. I imagine the words that broke Colette were something like (from Pam, whom the Webmaster was probably close to) "hey, I don't know you, but it sounds like you're having some pretty intense issues. As far as I know, I've never met anyone like you."
That would be pretty crushing to hear coming from someone you once knew and were probably close with, especially after being gaslighted and trying to hold onto who you were.
OMG I never thought I would get this emotionally attached to BRAWL STARS of all things but here I am. Thinking about OG Colette/Webmaster's story and it's horrifying and depressing. Only a few times before have I studied a piece of media and it made me feel this attached to the characters and make the world way more horrific.

It's a blast remembering that Colette actually weaponizes astral projection. That's crazy and I'm imagining what that's like now. Probably a mix of intense depersonalization, maybe a sudden draining of life. Possibly shortly after, there's some kind of (layman's terms) thrill seeker's rush. That's basically the closest you can get to an out of body experience or a near fatal experience in this game world without getting into an otherwise dangerous situation.
(First picture not by me. I haven't even played this game yet despite being very invested in the lore and characters.)

The planet has been retconned. It is now named Coveiru.
I definitely want some psychological and other horror elements and dark themes, so let me know. For information, this takes place on an alien planet with one of the main species (kengoas) interacting with the other 3 sapient species. Part of me wants it to be character driven but also I want to explore aspects of history and deep time like All Tomorrows.
